Description :Pepper - joyful divider of shoes, lover of socks and puddles, has nine F1 Groodle pups looking for homes Mum (Pepper) is our family dog - a lovely natured, healthy, fit and happy Golden Retriever. Pepper's mother, Stella, is the treasured sole companion of my mother and a pedigreed Golden Retriever. Both Pepper and Stella are small but robust, and importantly, they are delicate eaters for Goldens. Healthy habits for healthy lives! Pepper loves to have a tumble with another dog, but humans, and especially young humans, are by far her favourite. Her happy place is belly up in a primary school, with a swarm of kids grappling for a pat. Pepper's stats Pure-bred Golden Retriever Age: 2.5 years Colour: Cream Pre-pregnancy weight: 25kg Height at shoulder: 60 cm Favourite things: kids, socks, shoes, top-shelf soft toys Dad, Rusty, is a miniature poodle, also a beloved family pet. Rusty is very fit, playful, energetic and loving in nature. Being a poodle, Rusty is more reserved than Pepper, and FAR gentler on the vacuum cleaner. Rusty's stats Pure-bred miniature poodle Age: 5 years Colour: Red Weight: 11kgs Height at shoulder: 42cm The pups are F1 Groodles, meaning they are first generation and will be a beautiful and surprising mix of these two wonderful and intelligent breeds. F1s are not guaranteed non-shedding, although these pups have all begun to develop the poodle beard (furnishings), meaning they will either be low shedding or non-shedding. The colours range from whipped cream to silvery blond, caramel and chestnut and they will likely range in size between mother and father (Bronson Linguine is a beast). Whatever form they take, Groodles make ideal therapy dogs, are extremely intelligent and caring, are easily trained and a little bit handsome. Anyone would love them! The girls are Winnifred Sage (goes by Sage), Squid, Debbie Harry, Scarlet Sunset, Luna Silver Moonlight and Juniper. The boys are Fred F'now, Bronson Linguine, and Maurice. They will be ready for forever homes and forever homes now, Email for more information.

Advice when buying a Mixed Breed

Please read the following advice before buying a new pet, you should also read our article on avoiding scams :
  • NEVER make the decision to get a dog or puppy on a whim. A dog is a lifetime commitment and a lot of thought should go in to it before making the decision.
  • NEVER buy a new dog or puppy without being able to visit it at its home. If someone wants to meet you and makes excuses why you cant go to their home, just walk away and report it to us.
  • HELP US TO STOP PUPPY FARMING, read our PUPPY FARMING Information, in association with C.A.R.I.A.D
  • Read our detailed Information guide about dogs for potential new dog owners.
  • Puppies should not leave their mother until at the very least, 8 weeks old.
  • Read our Airedale Terrier breed information profile to research and find out more about this breed.
  • NEVER send money to someone for a pet using Western Union or Money Gram, as your money cannot be traced once sent.
  • Ask to see the pedigree papers and ensure the breeder's name is on the certificate.
  • Recently some advertisers are advertising their pets as Pedigrees, but when people have gone to buy the pet, the seller has made excuses and said they will post on the pedigree papers. NEVER pay for a KC registered dog or Pedigree Club dog if they dont have the certificates as you may never receive them.
  • Be wary of outlets offering more than one or two breeds
  • When visiting the seller note the surroundings and never go alone
  • Visit the puppy more than once
  • The breeder should want to know about you too
  • Ask to see the puppies mother - be very suspicious if you can't

Puppies bred commercially, indiscriminately and carelessly are likely to…

  • Develop disease
  • Have temperamental problems
  • Be difficult to housetrain
  • Find adjusting to family life hard
  • Suffer physical defects and have hereditary weaknesses
  • Think carefully before buying and do not buy the pet because you feel sorry for it.
  • If you buy from an unscrupulous breeder or dealer, you will be supporting their trade in misery. Every one you buy, another takes it place.
